ENJOY A RITUAL FULL OF ACTIVE BENEFITS

Practised for thousands of years, thermotherapy, based on alternating between hot and cold temperatures followed by a period of deep relaxation, has many benefits. Feasible twelve months a year, rain or shine, it helps to reduce stress and revive the body and mind.

Step 1

Hot

15 minutes

-

Whirlpool

Immersing the body in hot water provides a feeling of well-being while decreasing stress and improving sleep quality. Thousands of little air bubbles activate the blood circulation and relieve sore muscles. The feeling of weightlessness in the water also reduces pressure on the joints.

Dry sauna

The dry heat sauna helps to eliminate fatigue and muscle tension, to oxygenate the body, to strengthen the immune system and to cleanse the skin through perspiration.

Steam bath

The steam bath promotes in particular the decongestion of the respiratory tracts, it also helps to cleanse the skin and to prepare the body for a restorative and restful sleep.

Step 2

Cold

10 to 15 seconds

Nordic bath, waterfall or cold shower / The sudden immersion of the body into icy cold water stimulates the cardiovascular system, strengthens the immune system, improves the appearance of the skin and readies the body for sleep by lowering the body temperature.

Step 3

Relaxation

20 minutes

Relaxing areas / Laying or sitting down to rest the body and allow it to get back to its initial state. This important period of inactivity promotes the release of endorphins and allows feeling the physical and mental benefits of the hot-cold cycle.

  • Elimination of toxins

The higher heat removes not only the toxins originating in the skin and muscle tissue but also those coming from the metabolism and all the organs. It is therefore a very in-depth cleansing.

  • Improvement of the skins elasticity

By dilating the capillaries, hydrotherapy allows to replenish the skin with nutrients, so it regains its youthful radiance.

  • Improvement of the cardiovascular system

Proper blood circulation plays an essential role in maintaining good health. The thermal experience promotes the circulation and therefore helps to treat conditions such as acne, rheumatism and chronic pain.

  • Stimulation of the immune system

The extreme temperature difference the body is subjected to during the thermal experience results in a mild fever. The body responds to this state by stimulating its immune system, which is being strengthened and therefore has a better resistance to viruses and is overall in better shape among spa enthusiasts.

  • Improvement of the general well-being

The thermal experience helps to fight against insomnia, mild depression and loss of appetite.

  • Improvement of athletic performances

Exposure to the thermal experience on a regular basis improves the lung capacity. In spa enthusiasts one is able to observe an increase of the amount of red blood cells that are responsible for the transport of oxygen in the blood.
