Discover the thermal experience
ENJOY A RITUAL FULL OF ACTIVE BENEFITS
Practised for thousands of years, thermotherapy is a wellness ritual based on the external use of water for therapeutic purposes. Alternating between hot and cold temperatures followed by a period of deep relaxation, the thermal experience has many benefits. Feasible twelve months a year, rain or shine, it helps to reduce stress and revive the body and mind.
Hot
Time: 15 minutes
Whirlpool / Immersing the body in hot water provides a feeling of well-being while decreasing stress and improving sleep quality.
Dry sauna / The dry heat sauna helps to eliminate fatigue and muscle tension, to oxygenate the body, to strengthen the immune system and to cleanse the skin through perspiration. Please note the top bench is warmer than the bottom one.
Steam bath / The steam bath promotes in particular the decongestion of the respiratory tracts, it also helps to cleanse the skin and to prepare the body for a restorative and restful sleep.
Cold
Time: 10 to 15 seconds
Nordic bath, waterfall or cold shower / The sudden immersion of the body into icy cold water stimulates the cardiovascular system, strengthens the immune system, improves the appearance of the skin and readies the body for sleep by lowering the body temperature.
Relaxation
Time: 20 minutes
Relaxing areas, outdoor fireplaces, terraces, hammocks / Lying or sitting down allows the body to rest and get back to its initial state. This important period of inactivity promotes the release of endorphins and allows feeling the physical and mental benefits of the hot-cold cycle.
Duration
OF THE THERMAL EXPERIENCE
Anticipate 2 to 3 hours to complete the thermal circuit. We suggest repeating the 3 steps of the “hot-cold-relaxation” cycle 3 to 4 times in order to maximize the benefits.
